ODC Design was engaged by Alexander Spencer located at Level 3, 250 Camberwell Road, Camberwell, to design and construct a comprehensive fitout of their new office consisting of 881sqm.

The reception and front-of-house area was designed to make an immediate impression with a bold “wow factor,” inspired by a New York loft aesthetic. Feature metal ceiling finishes, and expansive glass partitions created an open, urban atmosphere. Accented with sleek, contemporary furniture and warm ambient lighting, this area blended the sophistication of a high-end office with the welcoming energy of a loft. Decorative touches like abstract art and greenery soften the space while adding character. The result is a bold yet inviting reception area that sets the tone for Alexander Spencers’ brand, as soon as visitors walk through the door, combining modernity with a distinct, memorable edge. Adjacent to the reception, a sophisticated 16 person boardroom extends the New York loft aesthetic, creating an impressive and cohesive flow. Framed by curved floor-to-ceiling glass walls with black metal accents, the boardroom offers a seamless transition from the reception while allowing natural light to fill both spaces

The fitout comprised multiple various-sized meeting rooms equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, and a purpose-built podcast studio for recording of our client’s fortnightly podcast: The Bottom Line. We also delivered 17 individual offices for executive personnel, and a spacious open plan area with workstations and a collaboration zone for staff. A separate large breakout area was designed with staff comfort and company-wide meetings and events in mind and included exposed ceilings, tiered seating, and a fully functional bar with built-in LED strip lighting.
