This project focused on delivering a seamless office upgrade that supported staff and daily operations without disruption.

ODC Design was engaged by the Australian Bureau of Statistics to reconfigure the existing layout, accommodating additional team members while enhancing overall workplace functionality. The fitout introduced nearly 300 new lockers distributed across multiple zones, significantly improving everyday usability. To enhance acoustic comfort, a combination of sound treatments and quiet pods were implemented, creating spaces for focused work within the broader office environment. A key feature of the upgrade was the redesign of the atrium kitchen, carefully considered to improve noise control while maintaining an elegant aesthetic when viewed from surrounding tenancies. In addition, a larger multipurpose room was created to host up to 25 people, doubling as a flexible breakout space that integrates seamlessly with the atrium and supports both collaboration and informal gatherings.
