Working with a vast 560sqm of office space in the leafy inner Melbourne suburb of Camberwell, ODC Design was engaged to deliver the fitout for a popular local internet service provider. Connecting with the company’s bright and energetic branding, we applied graphics to the entryway glazing to create a strong visual identity and memorable entry moment. Colour coordination throughout supported distinct zoning and spatial definition – complete with carefully selected carpet variations, considered use of colour across work areas and thoroughfares, and a series of uniquely coloured meeting rooms designed to promote collaboration. Acoustic ceiling baffles were used to improve sound quality within the space and create the illusion of higher ceilings, while a dedicated managers’ area and open workspace were mindfully curated to balance productivity and comfort. We also incorporated a large breakout space with varied seating to create a flexible area suited to casual conversation as well as larger gatherings such as town hall-style meetings.
