ODC Design was tasked with delivering the fitout of a new breast cancer screening clinic within a newly developed building in Malvern. Occupying 260sqm, our design included a reception and waiting area with a tranquil fish tank, 3 consulting rooms, 3 ultrasound rooms, 2 mammography rooms, 4 change rooms, a reporting room, administration hub, powder room, and staff breakout area. The client provided us with a highly specific brief to achieve their desired goal of establishing an efficient and practical workflow between practitioners and patients. As safety was a primary factor, we worked closely with radiation specialists to develop partitions which would effectively protect from imaging equipment radiation. The final outcome exuded an upscale feminine aesthetic, featuring gentle curves complemented by calming materials and a thoughtfully chosen colour palette.
